It is the roots that cause the tree to bear much fruit.
Many a times people are in awe of the fruits more than the roots which should be the other way round.
Although the immediate thought of roots are: tedious, dirty and more ploughing, that is how a tree gets growing.
To bear good fruits, we need to have good roots.
Shouldn't we then take to observe our roots(insides, character, substance, DNA, convictions) before we focus on the fruits of our ministry?

Because when there is inner change, there is outer reaction.
At the end of the day God does not directly gives us glory for the things we've done physically, but the intangibles that we observed.
Before we run after our ministry, we need to run first to God before He can empower us.

Grand dad's stuck in some hospital in China, all alone. We're gonna do some visits to China. Though we were never close, there is of course a sentimental attachment because afterall he still is my Grand dad. The once strong and tanned is now weak and frail. With a hunch he speaks in a Mandrian that I can hardly communicate in. I wish we could do life all over again with erased errors and things we've done wrong. Grand dad has no second chances. His past is his present. He mirrors the image of every Dad who is never there for his kids.

And how they were my favourite seniors and how much I invited them but I was rejected an upteen times and mocked by them. (Yeah so many ands as i'm still bewildered by it and am trying to cope within a breathe.)
3. Lynn came today (Classmate in RP sem 2.. One of the many favourite girls. Had my heart on her and Jazreel did the inviting!)
4. Andy Lim is coming tomorrow (Jazreel again. Now this time, Andy wanted to surprise me)

My hearts grinning with content as I sat there looking at the crowed. Pastor How just blows me away time and time again. It was a one stone two birds approach. HoGc has really grown to the level of being effectively smart and serious yet not lacking the warmth, family feel and especially the presence of God. I am proud of my Pastors!

Life has seemingly been on an uphill. I love my life and enjoy every part of it. This season is really the grind but grind's good because God's moving in our hearts, building on the inside that causes an outward expolsion. Although I look to the after, but the now intrigues me to dwell deeper into my basics and foundations.

I really miss Imai. I miss FTMS and life in FTMS. But we got to move on. :>

A group of us are gonna work on an e-commerce venture. It's gonna kick off well and I can't wait for it!

We ran E Zone's Welcome Party for Charleston and Jamie last night.
Everyone of us was in a fluster before the event started but it all kicked off as I see the people taking initiative.
I love doing this as it just got us closer, tighter.

While reading William Shakespeare's poems (I wanted to relive the literature days), I was caught off guard on how the generation evolves man. Still, I highly respect this man for his works although his background was disturbing. Perhaps it lead to him being so sophisticated minded with those creative juices and romanticism.

I've been meaning to read Lester Sumrall and Billy Graham's biographies soon. Travelling into the peaks, valleys and storm of their lives - what an experience. Success doesn't really mean a thing unless you feel significant. The whole issue about the world we live in today is that we are not oblivious to the now. We need to gain perspective. We need foresight. Although convenience has attached itself to mankind, the seemingly disturbing multiplication of various gadgets, tools, thoughts and even food causes a need to be able to differentiate; to tell from what is good and what is not.

More than being good ol' citizens of this nation, we need fire starters and world leaders who would set this world apart from being the same, mediocre, boring or mundane. The commontion on who is best really doesn't matter anymore.

Incidentally I really do stand on this: We either make believe, or die.

Chino passed on today while my mom was feeding him.
It's getting too emotional, but I pray that Chino will be in my mansion when I go to Heaven..
I never ever thought I'd grow so attached to him. My eyes are so swollen now hahah!

Chino is terribly sick. My poor chinchilla lost so much weight. He can't eat, can't sleep, can't move. The pain in his mouth is causing this lil' gerbil type to suffer much. :< Please pray for him. The specialized vet will only be free on Monday. I don't know if Chino will last till then.

Chino is my favourite, always will.

Towards God-dependence I would say. CG yesterday was awesome. E6 caught a whole new perspective of their Christian journey. I shared about how Moses progressed from being dependent, to being independent and towards God-dependence which was exactly the season of the CG. They have gone another level of having to draw the presence of God, by themselves.
